These are Morrisons value range baked beans, their is no other cheaper brand within the store. I have been buying this for quite a while now and it is out of choice, I purposely choose these over any other beans.


*** Packaging

These are Morrisons value range as I said, their they are pretty advertised as this as they are in a bright yellow can (as like with all their range). The benfit of this is that they are easily recognisable; it also has handy guidlines on the front stating:

* 187 calories *10.3g sugar *0.8g fat * 1.8g Sugar * Trace - Saturates

All these are for half a can please note. These beans come in a standard size big tin which is 420g, and it also states on the front that this is suitable for vegetarians.


*** Taste

In my honest opinion, I prefer these beans to any other branded beans. I don't like Branston of heniz, yet I love Morrisons own and also this value range. To me the morrisons ones taste the same, so I see no problem what so ever to get the yellow beans as we call them. They have the right amount of juice in them, and the beans are all still entacted. That may sound a little odd, but it really annoyes me if when i come to eat my beans all the beans have dislodged from their bean coatings and im left with mushy bean skins ( i hope this is making sense ). I find you get that a lot with the branston ones, however with these ones you don't get that.


*** Overall Opinion

I love these beans, and will activley choose these over any branded beans, the price for these is very good value, comapired to that of other beans. These large tins are priced at 29p and like they state really are value for money. I will continue to buy these as in all honesty, their really quite nice :)
