      Great tasting and healthy

For comfort food you can't go wrong with a jacket potato covered with tuna, sweetcorn and mayonnaise! Its quick, simple and definitely delicious! I do love sweetcorn, and must admit I am quite fussy about it, especially as I do tend to eat half the tin on it's on whilst making my chosen dish. I also find it's a really nice snack when I am stuck in the office and can't get out. It's shelf life is long, so easy to have an emergency can in your desk drawer!
The presentation of the tin is good - no gimmicks - just a picture of what it is! Upon opening the tin, the lovely sweet smell hits you. The kernels are a beautiful yellow. The sweetcorn is kept in water, so once drained is nice and moist and ready to go. It is deliciously sweet and crunchy, and I love the way it adds a splash of colour to boring meals! The only ingredients are sweetcorn and water, so it is nice and healthy too with only 48 calories in half a can!
Price wise it costs 39p for 198 grams, compared to 49p for Green Giant, or 21p for Sainsburys Basics, although this has added sugar and salt which straight away pits me off buying it. Unfortunately, unlike Green Giant, there are no varieties in the range, but saying that, Green Giant only does this in the larger 340g tins. I always buy the smaller tin, as you have to refrigerate and use within 24 hours of opening.
For those of you that like it hot, there are BBQ cooking instructions on the side, but I have never tried this.
Down side - produced in Thailand, rather than France as the Basic one and Green Giant range, so not so as good for the climate.
I would rate this 4 stars.
