      Aperitif rather than centurion!

Green Nines is Trejos Devynerios's Green brother! Another Lithuanian herby concoction. Green is a bit weaker at only 35% and contains more ingredients, lemon and orange zest, french brandy, cinnamon, clove, nuts, nutmeg, raisin, sloe, plum, coffee, balm, natural honey and vanilla sticks give it a bitter yet sweet taste which confuses yet delights. This is my favourite version of 999 and is best served on the rocks with a slice of lemon but is also fine as a simple shot, I wouldn't mix it with anything - it's an unusual taste and I don't see any point in changing it! It also smells delightful and has been known to please drinkers of all genders, ages and tastes. You will feel pretty refreshed after drinking this but it's a bit lethal if you drink too much and mix it with other things, so best off as an aperitif. Green 9's is an awesome drink and I recommend it to anyone, Stumbras have done a good job of building on the traditional version. Look for it in a shop near you!

    A "balsamic" brandy from Lithuania.
