I too first witnessed the miracles of Chivas Regal in Paris, France. My colleagues & I bought it as a bit of a joke. However, the way in which it measmurised us really is unforgettable. I remember first tasting it & thinking, this is something REALLY remarkable. Its character was so refreshing and timely; us being in the city of love. I fell in love with it straight away. Nothing will ever break me and my partner up. Just hearing its sweet name makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Drinking Chivas (as I fondly call it) is akin to having the world's most beautiful girl on your arm, its satisfying in a way that can not be matched. Sure other whisky's have tried but they have never quite captured its magic. They never will. Chivas is quite simply the best and I look forward to sampling Chivas Regal 18 & Chivas Regal Revolve. All good things come to those who wait and I waited a year to sample the best. It was worth every single second. I love u always Chivas Big up the sessioners in Leeds. Session in peace
This drink is comfortably the best there is. The excitement that it brings by just thinkin of it is equal to any sexual fantasy, it leaves me salivating and drooling(I have to wash my pillow cover every other day). I remember my first time, in the city of love - Paris, when i was poured a small shot(as I was still an amateur), and it went down stupendously well. But it wasnt till about a month ago that i rediscovered my passion for chivas regal, an old flame reignited. My last time was before the school ball, when I had just under half a bottle in about an hour, it was quite the session, and my and my partners were very much buzzing like bee's. We all have memory blankouts of that night, but some things remain, like me and my parter's excellent karoke performance to Foreigner's-I want to know what love is, and my tango with a very sassy soor. I will soon be re-uniting with my good friend Chivas when i travel to blackpool, it should be quite enjoyable. Shout out to Mala, Val, Sunil, Bal........... 20p, Chief, Chip Chip, whip whip, beside the menu, where's my change, i can have dreads too, back in the 80's, u dont understand, virgin, dont mix ur drinks.
"Chivas Regal. When you know." So, states the advertising blurb of The Chivas Brothers, who have been manufacturing Chivas Regal, which is a 12-year aged scotch whisky, in Aberdeen since 1836. And thank God I know! This is surely one of the more classy widely available scotches on the market today. I'll never forget my first taste of Chivas. I developed a taste for whisky at a very early age and by 16 was quenching my thirst for the beautiful liquid in many of Dublin's favourite watering holes. It was my Father, however, who noticed that it was mainly whisky of the cheap, brash, in your face variety that my untrained palette had begun to sample. Beckoning me into the living room one fine, summers day he deftly poured me a glass of the fine liquid. Thrusting it into my hand with a look of knowing expectation on his face, my Father was opening my young eyes. I tentatively sipped the old scotch and a smile appeared on my face. He simply nodded and walked away. I was hooked. Chivas tastes extremely smooth with a honeyed richness. As a scotch it is round and full-bodied with a long lingering finish. In my opinion, it is best to savour the taste in all its "neat" glory. A glass of Chivas with a couple of ice-cubes, however, also goes down a treat. As you work your way through a bottle of Chivas, you obtain a warm, satisfying glow, safe in the knowledge that your belly is being lined with a whisky of a truly superior quality. Enjoy.
Speyside Malt Whisky / Twelve years old matured Scotch Whisky. Warm amber in colour, with a harmonious aroma of herbs, heather and honey. Taste it, and you'll detect a creaminess on the palate, with honey, vanilla and butterscotch notes, and a rich and lingering finish.
