De Kuyper Cherry Brandy is 24% alcohol and can currently be purchased from Amazon for £13.50 for a 70cl bottle. It is presented in a dark brown bottle that had a long neck and has a red and gold label. The cherry brandy is exported from Holland and is a liqueur made from cherries and warming spices.

It has a strong cherry scent and is sweet to taste with deep flavours of red cherries, cinnamon and it is blended with brandy to give it that strength of alcoholic taste. It has a smooth finish and also I detect hints of marzipan, the flavour does not linger too long but the scent remains whilst you are drinking it. I tend to drink it mixed with champagne, to give it a nice twist and change the colour. I have tried drinking it on its own with ice, but I find it too strong in terms of sweetness. This brandy can be mixed with many other drinks to make cocktails such as a Black Cat that consists of cola, vodka, cherry brandy and cranberry juice.

Overall this is a nice tasting fruity cherry brandy that offers sweet strong flavours, it is a versatile drink and I would recommend it people who enjoy fruit based liqueurs and cocktails.
