      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      a delicious spirit

      If you like orange flavoured drinks but you want something stronger than triple then this is for you. Grey Goose make the most delicious, crisp and clear vodka and this is one of their new creations that makes making cocktails really easy. I used to love drinking Blue Bols, vodka and lemonade but it gave me such a headache and I think this must be due to the many E numbers bobbing about in my drink. I first discovered this in a bar when it was recommended with lemonade. You can certainly tell that this is a premium vodka as despite it obviously having many additives to create the flavour, the clarity of the vodka comes though.

      ==Price and availability==

      I bought this from Asda but you will find it in most bars, it is a firm favourite of mine but only posh bars tend use Grey goose for cocktails . A 70cl bottle cost me £31.00 in Asda but I really wanted to have it at home. It is better than paying 3 pound a shot for it not to mention the cost of the mixer separate.

      ==Taste and look==

      This drink is classed as a spirit as it is 40 % proof. This means that when you order it in bars you get a 25ml shot and not a 50ml as you would get with an orange liquor. This drink has a very orange scent to it which is surprising as it is quite a clear liquid. I like the clarity of it and find it mixes well with a mixer such as lemonade. The bottle is synonymous with the Grey Goose branding and it is exactly the same shape as the other Goose drinks. The drink has a fruity flavour to it, it tastes of really tangy oranges. It does taste very artificial and it can get quick sickly after a while. I could not sit and get drunk all night on this. I can drink this straight but the main advantage to it though is its success in creating many wonderful cocktails. Orange is a stable ingredient in many cocktails including the infamous cosmopolitan cocktail and with the flavour already in the vodka you are only a bit away from creating a gorgeous drink.

      ==Cocktail fun==

      I love to drink this with a mixer such as orange juice and it is even nice warmed with apple juice; really good for a cold day. It is like a hot punch! I love Cosmopolitans and out of all the ingredients, the vodka is the one that makes the most difference to the flavour therefore. Cosmopolitans taste phenomenal and even better with this top vodka.

      There are many other cocktails you can make though. The most seasonal one being the Pumkin Eater, this involves cream, orange juice, triple sec and this vodka. This turns into a really frothy orange mix and although not my favourite drink, I can see it's appeal. Some people wonder why a cocktail that contains orange juice needs orange flavoured vodka adding. The reason being is that this is a more concentrated orange flavour so it gives the cocktail extra flavour.
