      A high quality whiskey

The Green Label has sadly been taken out of production, but bottles are still available and at an affordable price, though this will soon change as supply shrinks. I can't say it has a unique flavour or quality which makes it really stand out, but the very fact that it is so well balanced becomes a virtue in it's own right. It also has a certain potent quality which other whiskies sometimes lack, so perhaps be careful if you have a couple of drinks not to have any engagements in the immediate future. The presentation is lovely, with its own box and the rich history of Johnnie Walker, making you feel that you are going to indulge in something of high quality, making it a wonderful present as well. This is a bottle which I would feel comfortable getting for whisky lovers of all stripes from the casual drinker to the connoisseur.
