Vans ... have a pair of Vans trainers in black and white, and I can honestly say I ve never been happier with a pair of trainers in my life. My girlfriend hates them, my housemates hate them, bouncers in clubs hate them, I however love them. It s like having two comfy sofa s on the end on my legs! They ve been pretty much the sole trainer I ve worn for the past year, and ok, admittedly they re pretty worn now but they re still as comfy as ever. They look good, and you can generally get away with wearing them into no shoes - no entry type clubs as they re mostly black, with black laces. Brooks Adrenaline GTS 9 ... suffer from a slight fallen arch on my left foot due to a leg length discrepancy (cue jokes about running in circles!) and as such I needed to wear insoles for a bit. When I decided to buy a decent pair of running shoes I went along to my local running shop for a fitting and to see what they thought about which shoes would be best for me. I tried a few different ones on, and had my stride recorded and analysed to see which ones were the best for me. I tried a pair on that I could wear my insoles with, but the staff decided that I should try a pair of Brooks which a specially designed for more support.
