Advantages: stylish, fairly cheap

Disadvantages: bad quality, break easily, not very comfy, feet can get wet very easily

You could quite easily lose count at the amount of people you see wearing converse just walking down the street.

Going with the latest fashion, I decided to get a pair, don't know why, I didn't particularly like them at first, but £30 wasn't a bad price, and I was getting desperate for footwear.

I went for the black, low-cut ones, as they looked the best without standing out too much; I had many different colours and designs to choose from in the store: black, blue, red, green... then strange patterned ones - I personally wouldn't want to be seen wearing some of these.

Being shoes and not trainers, I found the padding to be quite hard on first use, creating discomfort on my feet; this soon gave way however as my feet wore in, with the souls moulding to the shape of my feet.

They do, very soon however, begin to fall apart, with the problem mainly being the canvas coming away from the soul, making them look very 'tatty'.

Along with a pair of jeans, I find them to be very stylish; the fact that many different colours and designs are available also means that there is almost certainly a style to suit your character.

Overall if you choose style or cost over quality, I would head down to pick up a pair of these now, otherwise, id look elsewhere!
