Converse - what is it really?

It is an American company - now why is that not surprising?

You will not go to a town, and find a day in your life, not to see these shoes, in many different colours and styles. I was never interested in them unfortunately, though the sexy leather black version worn by Will Smith in the film, 'I, Robot' did stir some interest.

The real grab was when the Compton rapper, The Game wore them.

The most common and popular Converse shoes, is of course the 'All Stars' which unbelievably (so I felt) is basketball shoes! Worn by Charles H Taylor. Though many 'better' designs from other leading brands put Converse out of business - at least for a while.

Now they're back and they're kicking higher than ever! As I mentioned before, it was when I saw 'The Game' wore it, that got my true interest in them. I never associated Converses as rap/hiphop styling shoes, but as skater/rock/goth type. But now that The Game is bringing new trends and fashion is what we make, I think I'm in for some changes! The All Stars with Pure Black with red lining looked absolutely delicious! but quite costly, at £60.

Summary: Common, but there are so many styles to choose from!
