Advantages: Made by dahon, good quality build

Disadvantages: Expensive, not the one i personally would choose

This bike is one of very many folding bikes, all of which fold into crazily small packages, which makes them very good for urban transportation, as you can simply fold them up and hope onto a bus or train or any other vehicle for that matter without any problem. The dahon vitesse D7 would not however me my personal choice for a folding bike, as it has 20" wheels, which means that its folded size is bulker than 16" or 18" wheels. I think tha tif you are going to get a folding bike, either get one with small wheels that folds up into a realy small and light package, for use in urban transport, or one with larger wheels, that unfolds into a full sized bike, that you can put in your car and use when you drive out to places, although, that said, the Dahon Vitesse is still a really good bike, and the 7 speed gear system means you don't have to pedal like a mad man to move at a acceptable speed.

Summary: I would go for one with smaller wheels myself, 16" or so, not as good to ride, but more compact
