I have several pairs of skate shoes, had a couple of Vans and a couple of DC's, and I think the DC's are my favourite. They are by far the most comfortable shoes I've put on, and they just last and last! I used to wear my oldest pair every day for a long time, and they are finally getting to the end of their life. Not that the leather has broken, that's all in perfect working order, but the sole has became flat so there is no grip on anything anymore. I'm not the most sure footed of people so this isn't ideal for me. A friend of mine has had his even longer, and his are still holding out. Perhaps it's because he has the gum coloured sole, but mine has the black.

Anyway to cut a long story short, they look cool (in my opinion...) they're comfortable, you can get into no trainers allowed clubs :O at least with my black ones that is, and they just last, the shoe for every occasion!
