Surprisingly, they keep my feet well cushioned and insulated. They were reasonable at just under £100, and not common enough that they could still easily stand out in a crowd. Obviously, these shoes are not for heavy-duty exercise, but more as casual shoes for walking and general use. I have had them for over two months and have remained in a good condition. Premium Review DKNY - Trainers - Not what you think (321 words)
by - written on 15/05/01 (Very useful, 2638 readings)
Rating:

DKNY is the diffusion line from American designer Donna Karan (who excels at minimalist, pared down chic leisurewear). DKNY stands for Donna Karan New York and is a lot cheaper than the main line. The clothes are mainly sporty and funky and are very hard wearing. The same can be said of the trainers. As well as in the emporium on New Bond Street you can also find Donna Karan trainers in some big department stores or in the shoe shop Russell and Bromley (for more info on the Russell and Bromley shop see my other op). For a designer brand the trainers are no more expensive than Nike or Adidas and you can expect to pick up a pair for around £60 to £130 although ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review DKNY Trainers - a bargain! (113 words)

Rating:

I am now on my second pair of DKNY trainers - and they are great! As they are not sold by that many shops, only Selfridges, Russell and Bromley and the DKNY store on Bond Street (the best selection)you don't tend to find that many other people wearing them. The designs are very funky and they stand out a mile compared to other trainers. They are also very comfortable and amazingly well priced at around £60/pair! This would normally only but you a pair of 'run of the mill' Nike's! Obviously, these trainers are not built as great shoes for athletes but for fashion victims! ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review DKNY - Never Again. (346 words)

I bought a pair of DKNY trainers a few months ago and found them really comfy and they looked great with most of my clothes, so when my husband booked a break in Rome, they were the first things to go in the suitcase. As we are all aware, Italians have STYLE and I decided that on my first day, I'd try to do the stylish but smugly comfortable thing -lovely jeans and nice looking trainers. Yup, it worked and we went sightseeing. The first couple of hours were great but then I felt my trainers rubbing my little toe. I thought that it was the new socks I was wearing as I had worn my trainers lots back home and had no problems. We sat down for ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review DKNY Shoes- comfort and fashion- an odd combo! (181 words)

I bought a pair of DKNY trainers, but more casual shoes, called Dash Runner in pink. This was the first time I had bought anything from this company and was surprised that it was fashionable AND equally comfortable. They had a zip on the front, which I hadn?t seen before and a stitching of a flower lightly positioned on the side. (So quite girly, yet had an edge.) I wear them to work and in my position I am constantly on my feet, moving to and for up to 10 hours at a time. Surprisingly, they keep my feet well cushioned and insulated. Premium Review DKNY: Trendy Street Shoes (150 words)
by - written on 16/08/01 (Somewhat useful, 415 readings)
Rating:

On a recent trip to Hong Kong I come across plenty of DKNY stores, originally looking for clothes. That is until one day in the manificient Times Square complex I come across the trainer range. I spotted a pair of Grey slip on trainers, great I thought and bought them without hesitation. The staff were great as well seeing as their sizes were American and I was stumped, eventually I found the right size. Being chinese helped as well as I could communicate with them. I also purchased a DKNY watch for under £100. The trainers are very comfortable, they cost around £70 and I haven't saw them in the UK yet. I wouldn't do anything athletic in them as I ...  Read the complete review
