Skateside helmets, safe like a tank! (Stateside Skate Helmet)

Advantages: Very very safe

The camo black skate helmet is a great helmet, with very thick padding. This helmet is more designed for street sports, such as skateboarding, roller skating, scooter (push scooter not petrol or diesel, this isn't designed for riding a motorbike in) and heelys, rather than a type of helmet that you would use for just riding a bicycle.

So, what are the pros?
Firstly, I can't speak for everyone, but i think that it does look very stylish, compared to other helmets with that nice camo colour. It also comes in metallic blue, metallic red, metallic pink and plain old black, but this colour was my favorite (and the most expensive by about £2!)
Secondly, this helmet is pretty robust, and isnt made of some type of cheapo plastic on the inside, the camo bit is made out of one solid piece of expensive and hard feeling plastic, and the insdie has some heavy padding, hopefully i will never have to rely on that!

What is there not to like about this helmet?
This helmet is INCREDIBLY big and heavy. You can't really see it from the photo, but there is a good inch or so from the end of your skull to where the helmet extends to, and the weight means that really, its not as comfortable as a normal cycling helmet, yet this is designed to take more of a beating

In conclusion?
A great helmet if you need something more robust, like I was/am, but not to be used instead of other helmets, its great at what its designed for, but not much else.

Summary: great for boarders, skaters or scooter people, but not for cyclists
