      ==Lyle & Scott Polo Shirt==

      My other half does like to look good, of which I should be grateful for I suppose, but it seems his style is a lot more expensive than mine as he refuses to wear a lot of items that are not branded unlike me who mixes it up a bit.

      Of course playing golf is a rather expensive hobby for him and our little boy and he relies on Christmas and birthday presents from friends, family and me for him to request the most expensive items that he quite fancies seeing himself wearing. This birthday was no different and he seemed to have a list of clothing items as long as his arm for everyone to work out who was to buy him what.

      I was the one to buy him this Lyle & Scott Polo shirt which is so like a ton of his other tops that he has as it seems that polo shirts are his attire of choice. The good thing about these tops is that he can wear them for both when going out in the day or the night and also wearing them on the golf course too and still looking the golf professional.

      I paid £39 for this polo shirt and we bought it in a black colour and it has the green eagle logo stitched into the left hand side breast area of the polo shirt. This price is pretty expensive when you think that you can pick up a non-branded polo shirt for under £20 or even a Next polo for a lot cheaper than this price and these seem to be up to a good quality. Of course you are really paying for the brand name and the little logo on the shirt and therefore this price isn't too bad. I think if you wanted to purchase the top online you could pick it up for a lot cheaper but I am always wary of buying branded tops online as I can never be sure if I am buying an authentic item or not.

      The polo shirt is made from the classic air tex kind of material but is nice and soft to the touch. It is a breathable material which makes it comfortable to wear both in the hot pub or for when playing golf. There are two little slits either side by the hips on the hem of the polo shirt and this makes the fit really good. A thing to note about these Lyle & Scott polo shirts is that they do come up a little smaller than other polo shirts and although I still bought a medium size like I would usually do the fit on my other half is a little tighter which gives a nice look for when going out but is not quite as practical as other polo shirts he has for when he is playing golf. There is a pocket situated on the opposite side of the Lyle & Scott logo and this is really for the overall look of the polo shirt as putting anything in this pocket would sure to cause sagging and stretching of the material so my other half doesn't tend to use this pocket and it is more or less useless but does set it apart slightly from a lot of his other polo shirts which do not have a breast pocket.

      A thing I was really concerned about too was washing the polo shirt as the solid black colour of the polo I assumed was bound to either fade or take on a red tinge like some other black tops I have purchased and washed regular have done in the past. However after a good deal of washing, although I do tend to wash this top on a 30 degree wash, inside out and use a washing powder which is especially designed for dark clothes, the top had held the colour well and although not as deep and solid in colour as it was when we first bought it, there is no real fading and the top still looks nice and sharp.

      As I tend to get the top out of the washing machine in record time and not put it on a too fast spin the creases that would normally be in a lot of polo shirts the other half owns doesn't seem to affect this top and it often can get away without ironing, which is another reason I feel that it has kept its colour and look really well.

      All in all I can't find a single fault with this little polo shirt. For the price you are certainly getting a top quality item which is made well and looks stylish. It can be worn pretty much anywhere for any reason and still look smart. It is easy to care for and washes up well whilst keeping its shape. I think it would be a top scoring product in anyone's eyes and a 5 out of 5 stars rating is well deserved.

      Highly recommended!

      I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you
