Everlast Power Tower Inflatable Punching Bag
by user789
I received this inflatable punch bag as a present from a family member and at first I was not really sure about the effectiveness of an "inflatable" punch bag and to be honest I was totally impressed with the amount of fun and exercise this product has to offer.
The punch bag takes around 3 to 5 minutes to inflate ... which is okay considering you only inflate it from scratch once. The weight distribution is good as the bag comes back at you after each punch or kick thanks to the heavy sand weight at the bottom of the bag that causes it to bounce back.
The bag is around the height of an average sized person so you can pretty much have a "fight" with this bag. This does tend to release a tonne of stress after a long and hard day. So if you are having difficulties in life this will definitely put a little smile back on your face.
And it gets even better as all of this happens while your exercising so you are having fun, releasing stress and doing sport at the same time. This product is 100% worth the money (around £10).
I Would definitely recommend. Read the complete review |

Sigg Think Green Bottle
by user789
I would not usually take this bottle with me to a short run in the park as I would take a more sporty looking bottle such as my plastic asda bottle (also reviewed). I would usually prefer this sigg bottle on long hikes or walks for the following reasons.....
>It has a strong aluminium shell that can withstand drops and ... bumps of all sorts without denting dramatically as only the more extreme hits have managed to dent this bottle, but only very slightly.
The thing about aluminium is that it has strength at the same time it is very lightweight so I can store my water in a strong bottle without having to lug a heavy piece of metal with me!
>The lid of the bottle is more suitable for safer storage as it can not come loose with out you trying. This is really hand considering a spill in your rucksack could spell a very un-enjoyable hike. Once the lid is tightened nothing is going to leak.
On a more light hearted note I think that the design looks funny with the bold and big "THINK" written on the middle with of little gentlemen and ladies standing all around the bottle.
I think that the outside of the bottle could have been improved as the bottle gets scratch marks on it quite easily comparing to more sturdy bottles but if you are using it on gentle walks in the parks then this problem will never occur.
Overall, this is a nice looking, sturdy feeling and long lasting bottle that is more than ready to take a few knocks during most outdoor activities. Read the complete review |

Asda Smartprice Plastic Sports Bottle
by user789
I bought this bottle from asda as I needed a small and handy bottle for use when exercising in the and outdoors and since the price was perfectly suitable to what I was hoping for I did not find a reason that would stop me from buying this bottle.
These bottles come in light blue and pink at a price of £1.30, so price wise ... this bottle is probably around the cheapest you could get.
I really like the design behind this bottle as it is made to be convenient for everyday purposes as the bottle is easy to open and close, the liquid comes out easily and it is easy to clean thanks to the really wide diameter of the lid.
I have found the plastic of this bottle really good against wear however the piece of plastic connecting the lid with the bottle seems to be slightly fragile comparing to slightly more expensive bottles on sale in stores such as sports direct and JJB.
When it comes to using the bottle it is made with the usual "fruit shoot style" lid and a slightly soft body so squeezing the bottle will squirt out a generous amount of water. The strip of plastic that helps to keep the lid with the bottle is also very effective. 10/10 for ease of use.
I would recommend this bottle to anyone looking for a simple but effective bottle for everyday activities such as sports or exploring the out doors. A cheap bottle with generous features. Read the complete review |
