Scarpa SL: ... have been using the same pair for 2 years now, and never looked back. Yes a large investment was made, but with the usual Scarpa quality I was happy to make the investment. The boots needed very little breaking in, slightly rigid to start, but you expect this and need this from a 3-4 season, hard wearing boot. Once I had them on for a day they were perfect. They are slightly bulky...for the hung over approach to ...

veedub79 White Water Rafting Equipment
... Water Rfating equipment is a huge term to cover, so I will talk about the basics for a guide and basic customer. The first and most important piece if kit is a bouyancy aid. Fot a guide they vary greatly, the basics needed are the correct amount of bouyancy for you weight, for this you must check the lable, or contact the supplier for top advice. Don t rush into buying a BA for the price, we are all after bargains, but a bargain on your life? Most price between £60 and £120. I wear a Yak Descent, not the most practical rafting BA, but it is versitile and allows for free movement, especially when kayaking. Shop around, buy what suits you, not what looks good and is...

... *My History of Water* My lasting memory of early reading experiences is that I would read the pictures rather than the words. I can remember very vividly, sitting next to my mum on our brown faux leather sofa some time during the winter of 1980-81, with my stomach tied in knots because I couldn’t read the word ‘enormous’. We were reading The Enormous Turnip at the time and that blasted word was on every single page! Now you may be wondering, and rightly so, what on earth all this has to do with the subject of ...

Thepanda Total Gym 1000
... own a Total Gym, but like Two-dog, I think that it doesn t give enough resistance. I like the concept of the Total Gym, because although the machine is considered heavy, it s a whole lot lighter than a multigym with a 50kg weight, which might have a total weight of over 100kg. Whilst searching the web I found the bodyrail (www.bodyrail.co.uk), which is a similar to the Total Gym but it is a much more serious machine. You can use 89% of your bodyweight, do 100 exercises, add weights, etc. Unlike the total gym, you can alter the height and the width of the resistance, so it s just like using free weights but with the safety of a machine. Both my husband and myself love ou...
