I wanted a present that wouldn t join the other long forgotten toys in the toy cupboard; something that would give pleasure for years to come was what I had in mind. Apollo Sparkle ... summer, when my daughter was three and in need of her first two wheel bike (with stabilizers of course) I made the foolish mistake of buying a cheap pink contraption in Sportsworld. The bike wasn t displayed out of the box, I never tried her on it, I handed over my £25 and toddled off with the huge box, convinced I had got a bargain. Wrong. The bike, apart from being poor quality with solid plastic wheels (like a trike) was actually too small and had weirdly placed pedals, meaning after a few attempts she just gave up the struggle and it languished in the garage for months. Brenda Dygraf Air Climber Stepper ... first saw this Air Climber stepper about a year ago on a shopping channel and really wanted one. It was late at night however and my previous experience of buying through the shopping channels has involved me ordering and them ringing me back an hour or so later and as it was so late I decided to check the website the following day. The following day they had sold out so I kept periodically searching but getting no joy until a month ago I found one on ebay. Mine cost £29.95 with £10 p&p which is alot cheaper than they sell for direct from the shopping channels, they cost about £80 from there.
