Trix1212 Merrell Siren Ventilator: ... last minute summer holiday in beautiful Pembrokeshire two years ago had me frantically searching for a pair of comfortable walking shoes. My old boots were rubbing my heels and, not being a huge fan of clunky walking boots anyway I decided that some light shoes would be enough. Of the very little choice in my small town I finally plumped for these in Millets. I think they were about £65 which seemed pricey but they...

Logan33 Life Fitness Signature Fly
... the eagle eye s out there, you may well be familiar with Life Fitness equipment. In particular if you are a member of an LA Fitness or Holmes Place gym, then you will have come across this kit as LA fitness tend to deck their gyms out with this equipment, whilst Fitness First have a contract with Technogym. Having worked with and trained on this equipment, I thought I would give you an insight into why its so good (and so expensive!!!!) WHO ARE LIFE FITNESS Life Fitness really came into existence in 1968, when a chap called Keene P Dimmock invented the lifecycle exercise bike. Seeing its potential, two young entrepreneurs, Ray Wilson and Augie Nieto bought the righ...

Rhiana Groovy Chick Inline Scooter
... leaving the much loved FiFi 3 wheeled scooter out in the rain for a couple of days and being driven mad by its now incesant squeeking, I bought this Groovy Chick scooter for my 4 and a half year old daughter. She had outgrown the smaller scooter and was desperate for "a pink one with 2 wheels that goes reeeaaally fast" I bought this in Argos 2 month ago. At the time it was reduced by half price to £9.97, which was the same price as a similar, but plainer unbranded scooter. However what really swung it for this one was the freebie lip gloss in a plastic mobile phone shaped case. However, while I thought I got a bargain, when I visited the Argos website...

Trengot Shimano
... bought this crankset as a replacment for the Truvativ OEM one that comes on the standard Specialized Hardrock (or did in 2004 anyway). The difference was stunning. Fair enough it costs a fair bit more (£120 fitted instead of ~£50) but it is more than made up for by the increase in performance. It is much lighter (about 900g instead of lots ) and the external BB is so smooth. There is very little flex and they have only needed adjusting once or twice in the two years I have had them. When they eventually do need adjusting, or moving from one bike to another, it is a fairly straight forward process once you have the HT II tool (~ £10 from any local bike shop or intern...
