Apollo Force 14in Boys Bike 08 ... Apollo Force 14in Boys Bike was a real bargain buy from Halfords for £58.73. This is a 2008 bike with a retail price of £99.99, but as the 2009 bikes are coming out now, this has been reduced as old stock. I don t think your average four to six year old, who this 14" bike is designed for, will really care a whole lot about current fashion though. What attracted us to this bike was that it represented really outstanding value for money. The bike is solid and very sturdy, but at the same time it s light enough for our grandson to balance. Apollo Sparkle ... decided months ago that for Easter I would buy her a new bike (I m not overly extravagant with Easter gifts, but my daughters birthday is actually 10 days before Christmas. I keep birthdays gifts low key and buy a good outdoor toy at Easter). So having learned my lesson the previous summer, I took her to Halfords. Apollo CX 10 Mens Town & Trail Bike ... bought the Apollo CX.10 men s town and trail bike at Halford s, nearly three weeks ago for £104.99, reduced from £200, though apparently it is now only £89.99 (6th June 2008). The model I have is the 18" frame, though it is also available in a 21" frame. It is a nice dark blue (also comes in red or grey) with all the usual stuff like front and rear reflectors. It is an aluminium frame (though Halford s website state it is high tensile steel ) and does not have any active suspension or, in fact, any suspension at all.
