Pinnacle Stealth Semi-Dry Suit ... the warmer weather approaches and the waters around the English coast begin to heat up a little bit I sometimes wonder if the temperature will perhaps rise enough for me to dispense with my bulky dry suit and all the thermal gear and be able to slip into my Pinnacle Stealth semi dry suit, when I say slip what I actually mean is to squeeze, curse and contort my body into said suit as the only main criticism I have of this suit is that it is not the easiest to get into. Not that I can really complain as it did not cost me anything to buy as I was given it by a friend who had stopped diving and could not get anyone to buy it from him. Suunto D6 Dive Computer ... lady luck just happens to smile down on you and just recently she has smiled on me twice with regards to winning things one of which was the Suunto D6 dive computer which at a retail price of £470 is a pretty decent prize to win. I was tempted to sell it straight on as I already have a dive computer which I’m really happy with and that meets my diving needs as it has two gas settings for when I dive with Nitrox gas. However the benefit of the Suunto was that it is a small watch style computer and therefore would be slightly lighter and less bulky when travelling abroad on holiday and as a golden rule of scuba diving is to always factor in potential kit failure a... Sherwood Kinesis Fins ... have always maintained that you have to go a long way to beat a day spent dressed in rubber, breathing through specialist apparatus in a wet, dark environment. A few weeks back my enjoyment was curtailed somewhat when one of my fins cracked open with a large split in them, now it could be argued that a split fin design is the latest fashion however that only really works when the both fins are a split design and the split in your fin does not get bigger with every kick of your leg. One aborted dive later I was thus thrust onto the market for a new set of fins as my back up pair are fine for the odd dive but not for an extended period of diving. There have been huge dev...
