I have never had a pair of Adidas predators before but as my old Nike First Touch astroturf boots had worn out I decided to purchase this stylish new pair. They are priced at around £40 and came out in Feb 2009 shortly after the boot version came out.

Predators have been around since 1994 and this particular version is the one introduced around 15 years later. The Predator football boots are famed for power, swerve and control.

This particular version is a good value boot and has many of the same stylish design features as its Professional level counterpart. The boot has a split outsole, performance last and engineered Predator performance. The laces are also covered so there is a greater area for the ball to be struck with. The predator boot is mainly for power players and thats why you see the likes of Ballack and Gerrard wearing these boots. They can be used to produce powerful shots and also have a swerve element.

Overall these are a good value pair of astros and can be used for power type players and also give good control.
