For anyone who has ever bough sports equipment, clothing or merchandise over the years Addidas will certainly be a brand you have come across over the years. I have owned addidas glasses, equipment, clothing and everything in between. Never have I had to question the quality of their products, I have had the glasses for several years, sports equipment for even longer and so far so good, never had any problems with durability or build quality. Founded in 1948 by Adolf (there's a name which quickly lost popularity...) Dassler, 'Adidas' is one of the world's leading sports brands. I use many different Adidas products in the sports that I participate in, but I have a particular fondness for their trainers, of which there is a huge selection to chose from. Intro ------ I did a review the other day on Nike and various products of theirs that I own, so it seems only natural to follow that up with a review of Adidas, and their products, as they are their main competitor. Adidas is a major sports brand based in Germany. Adidas is the parent company of the Adidas group which also own Reebok, Rockport and TaylorMade-adidas golf. Adidas were founded back in 1924 but didnt register until 1949. This was around the same time as Nike first joined the sports scene who have gone on to become there biggest rivals. Adidas are normally known for the 3 Stripes they put on there products from trainers to trousers. Adidas are most well known for their sports clothing range, however I buy many items from the Adidas Originals line. Adidas Originals is the heritage line of Adidas. Adidas has two logos, the one above is for their sports range and this was introduced in 1991 and they also have their trefoil logo, which was their logo that was used for everything until 1991, but now is only used for the originals range. I like the originals range because it has a retro feel to it and I often find many clothing items in there that I can wear on a night out as well as just in general.
