Great remake of an old classic (B60 series)

Advantages: Firm face response, offset hosel, easy alignment

Disadvantages: None that I can identify.

After 42 years of golf (and probably an equal number of putters) it was nice to return to the remake of an old classic. The Karsten B60 is one of the best feeling putters ever made...and one of the top tournament winners for the pros. It's easy to line up and a little heavier than the original B60. It has an offset shaft over the ball that makes it less likely to pull short putts (one of my problems). This is a great putter for those seeking the look of a small mallet, but with the lining up sensation of a blade. The white line coupled with the two edges of the cavity in the sole plate also help with alignment. A slightly rounded sole design allows the standard black dot version to easily fit a wide range of user shaft angles. In short...if you're searching for a putter and can't find one in the vast sea of new (and very expensive) ones, give the Karsten B60 a try. NOTE: I do not care for the other versions of the B60 at all (G5, iSeries, iWi, etc.) My comments are about the "Karsten" B60.

Summary: The B60 is one of the finest putters ever made.
