Umbro Football Boots in general ... - Over my established career as a sunday league footballer, i have used a variety of different boots, including those made by Umbro. They are a very recgonisable brand and especially with the sponsering of the england football side, you would expect the boots to be of a high standard. However, unfortunately in my general experience this is not always the case. The boots I cant remember what the exact models i have had are called but i do know that i have never been particularly happy with them. Puma Football Boots in general ... i was younger i used to love Puma football boots. The fact that they were always in amazingly bright and distinctive colours always got me wearing them. However, today they seem to concentrate on very lightweight boots, such as the Vkonstrukt, which just is no use to a centre back with little flair or technique. Thus, my Puma boot days are over, but i can still see some good options and reasons for why these boots would still be a good buy. 1. Firstly, they are always comfortable. Football boots - General ... boots are always a joy to buy, so many brands, styles, colours nowadays the choice is enormous. However you must get the boots that are right for you. Personally i think there are several key aspects that could effect the type of boots you want/need. These are: Foot Type Position Ground Personal Preference Foot Type. This can have a massive bearing on the type of boots you get, especially the brand. These days retailers tend to split there boots into 3 categories; speed, power and touch/heritage.
