I joined the gym in jan this year with a 12 month membership.2 weeks ago they had a fire evacution ,I found out after that it was the heat of a pair of straightners that had set off the alarm . There were no fire evacution procedures in place .I was left down stairs on my own not knowing what was going on ,I had just finished swimming i was soaking wet and heard no tannoy nor did another older gentleman that wandered out 40 mins later ,he had been left in the shower . If this had been a real fire god only knows what would have happened. Read sams review on this club and i could not have put it better myself . I have written to the club in milton keynes and told them I will not be returning and would like to cancel my membership I have no faith in there fire evacution procedures nor there health and safety . I have received a response from the general manager of the milton keynes branch , they said amongst many things that i cannot cancel my membership. I shall be taking this further . All this company is interested in in pulling people into a no back out 12 month membership . I do not recomend this club to anyone.
