Advantages: knowledge about Basketballs
Disadvantages: Which one to pick
Basketballs probably the most important piece equipment in the game except from probably the hoop. Now the make of the ball there are a lot of different makes to choose from when you are picking your basketball. I have personally had a fair amount of basketballs the best one for me in England is the Baden used in the British basketball league I find it an amazing ball I would recommend it to any one that loves to play basketball. Don’t get me wrong the other makes such as Nike, Spalding, Wilson etc. they are good balls but the Baden is the ball for me the performance feel everything is above the rest.
There are a variety of balls in the Baden area the price ranges from £15.95 being the cheapest and £39.95 being the dearest where to start well I have currently the Baden Perfection lexum comp the £39.95 ball this ball is indoor only ball I don’t mind that. When I play basketball at my local sports centre everyone has commented on how good the ball is its brilliant it just has that upper class about it if you know what I mean the feel of it the weight balance everything it is the best in England no doubt about it.
The other balls are the 321 this is an indoor and outdoor ball. The equalizer this again is an indoor and outdoor ball. The Enforcer this again is indoor and outdoor ball. The Performer this are the normal Baden they are high glossed still good ball I like the look of the Performer because it looks good and also feels good smooth nice ball also they have different colours gold, red, blue and one other ball that has the mix of black and green colours on it. The Nite Brite this ball glows in the dark lol yes glows in the dark great. All these balls you can get in men’s size, women’s size and junior size.
There is also the Lebron James ball that Nike sell 100% lebron attitude maximum performance this is a good ball I think but I still prefer the Baden Perfection. Sorry Lebron. Also Nike are selling a ball called cage grip this is a ball that doesn’t have the normal grip but it has cage grip it kinder like a skin over the ball with little holes in it to maximize the grip.
Spalding there are the best ball you can buy in America the NBA use it and most of sports that include a ball will go to Spalding they tailor for nearly every sport. But I prefer the Baden. Spalding have a wide range of balls as well and all of them are great balls which have maximum performance etc but Bden is still the one for me. Spalding balls prices range from £19.95 to up to £60.
