This year Asian Teams are playing against each other for the first and second place because the best two teams qualify for the world cup in basketball which is going to be made in the United States Of America. So the South-West teams in Asia played against each others because the first three teams will qualify to the Asian cup so they can have a chance to go to America.

The first couple of matches were in Lebanon and the Lebanese won all the matches. Then they played in Iran and also the Lebanese won all the matches except one which was against Syria. But still the Lebanese got more points and they were the best team in South-West Asia then followed Syria then came Iran and these were the three teams which were able to qualify to the Asian cup.

Then in the Asian cup China beat all the teams by forty to fifty points. Iran lost three games so they left the Asian cup. Syria came second in its group so they qualified to the quarterfinals but the team that came ahead of Syria was Korea so Korea will play with the second in the other group while Syria will play with the first.

In the other group there was China, Japan, Thailand, and Lebanon. Lebanon’s first match was against the Chinese, the team who won all the others easily. Well the Lebanese were great and the time was almost over and the difference was eight points to the Chinese but the Chinese were mad because they didn’t win the Lebanese by a very big point so the Chinese started beating up the Lebanese even the crowd came down and started to hit them. What kind of sportsmanship is this. But the Lebanese were able to beat the other two teams to qualify for the first time to the quarter-finals and they played against Korea and they were able to win by three points and this made them qualify to the finals and to the world cup. While the Chinese were able to win against Syria so they also qualified to the finals and the world cup. The Chinese also won the Lebanese again but the
Lebanese didn’t care because they are going to the world cup in Indiana next year.

What a team for the first time in history the Lebanese team was able to qualify to the world cup and get a silver medal
