I bought this trampoline, not for fitness reasons, but for fun and it was so very worth it. The spring back on this trampoline is better than it is on others I have tried and can accomodate the weight of rather more than it says on the box (not me).
I like the fact that it has the little star in the middle of it, this does help you, especially when upside down which you will undoubtedly find yourself at some point. It is not too high off the ground either which, for us short people, is a big plus.
However there are a few problems with it. The major problem is that it does not come with a surrounding guard that encircles the trampoline. If you are sat there thinking 'oh, I don't need that', yes, yes you do. It took me a little while (and a broken wrist) to realise that. As such I can't rate having a guard highly enough. As it is a standard 10ft you won't have any trouble finding one to fit. Another problem is that if you place it on grass, which most people do, it will sink into the ground. As such you will have to occasionally rotate it. Another problem is that the protective cover around the edge is rather thin meaning when you hit an extremity on ot, it will feel; like hitting solid metal.
Assembly was rather easy as is rotating it, as it is not particularly heavy. If you are able to, buy a larger trampoline of at least 12ft in order to minimise the possibility of injuring yourself.
This trampoline is great in many ways. I have always wanted a trampoline, so i know what great gift it would make for a family member.
Whether for fun or exercise (you choose the excuse) you want it.
Obviously this trampoline will make you bounce , but it also has othr features such as the little ladder to give you and easy, safe way to access it.
Also it has safety padding, which covers the metal edging, so that you won't hurt yourself if you land on the edge.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages of this trampoline, one being it doesn't have the safety netting that some do which in the eyes of the parent of the child, is very important to make sure that the child does not fall off whilst bouncing - something that once happened to me and left a scar.
I personally do not believe that this trampoline is worth £179.99. My reason being if you can afford to pay this much then you can get a better deal or one, perhaps slightly smaller, but with the netting which is, in my opinion very important.
Trampolines are great fun, and great exercise too. I recently went with my friend to purchase a Bazoongi 10ft trampoline and the netting for it which come too about £170 all together. This was an okay price, but some 10ft trampolines were cheaper.
It took about an hour and a half to set up the trampoline with three of us, it was pretty simple to set up with easy instructions to follow; the metting on the other hand was a bit more complicated and took a lot longer than expected. But i would definatly recomment putting it on else someone could get hurt.
With this tramploine you gedt a 10 year garantee on the frame, i think its from damage such as rust etc. The frame itself is solid and no need to worry about it breaking on you, no matter how heavy you think you are. It is reliable too.
Overall, If you want to get fit and have fun all at the same time, a trampoline is for you, but be careful and make sure to get the metting too. It may be extra, but its definaly worth it.
This is an excellent entry-level trampoline with a 10ft diameter. It features the 'Tri-Layer' joint system on all models and, with a 10 year guarantee on the frame, you can be sure that you are not compromising on structural strength and reliablity. Please see below for more details on both the Tri-Layer system and the specification of the trampoline.
