... 2005 not 2006 since the new hogs have 6 speed transmissions, and I feel sad about this. I really need to teach all these students how to ride in formation. But they don't seem to grasp the need for having a road captain. Anyways I took a bunch of womens to the store the other day to buy luggage. At this store, one of the more famous giant chains in America that sells low quality goods to low quality people the luggage is considered to be under the auspices of sporting goods. So while all these girls are standing ...more

Premium Review Bikes in general: Bikes are for losers (1446 words)

I always thought that bicycles were for dorks. I live in a semi rural area in Ohio, USA and everyone here has a car. We can start driving and get ourselves killed at age 16 and at that part bicycling is horribly stigmatized in that the only people riding bikes are children or too poor to have their own car. In the past 8 years we have had a huge influx of foreign students that come to our city in the summer to work at the hotels and amusement parks and they all ride bikes and we make fun of them. About two years ago I got a bit drunk and started riding one of their bikes through my yard and doing jumps and stuff and thought to myself, hey this is kinda fun. ...  Read the complete review

?I like to ride my?bike!? ************* I like bikes, Biking?s what I do! I like biking, What about you? ************** ~ A review on biking ~ Can you believe I made that little song up in just a few minutes? Isn?t it good, it tells you that I like to bike. I must be talented! I could go on and on but I think you have the idea; I am just so clever when it comes to writing pointless, little verses which have no point to them what so ever! Anyway, I can see that you?re bored already so onwards with the review! So then? What is this exciting review about?? ********************************* Well, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bikes in general: Trials riding (878 words)

If you have reached this opinion by the several biking link?s then I take it you either like biking or you are curious about what styles of biking there are. Well, there are loads, but the specific one I will be focusing on is "Trials". Trials is a style of biking that involves huge amounts of balance, and, believes it or not, balls. Putting trials in a nut-shell it's basically getting up and around objects. That doesn't sound all that hard, but these objects can be as big as two meters, getting up it doesn't require all that much ball's, but when you?re up there looking down it seems a lot taller than it is. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Brompton Folders - Origami For Cyclists (1736 words)

Question: What does a man (whose job as a schools cycling trainer requires him to use a pushbike), buy himself for his birthday, when his new car only has a very small boot? Answer: A folding bike. Yes folks, I'd seen the wear and tear caused to my trusty Nissan Micra by a full-sized mountain bike (admittedly, with the front wheel removed) and I'll be bu*****d if I'd let my new car go the same way. Of course I could always CYCLE to the work locations, but some of these involved a long ride on London's South Circular in the rush hour, and these days, I'm rather fond of life, what's left of it! So some sort of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bikes in general: Brompton folders (515 words)

If I had to choose to own one bicycle, then I would go for a Brompton folder. They aren't the quickest, the most fun to ride, or the cheapest. They are however extremely versatile and practical. Its really nice to be able to fold the bike in 15 seconds into a compact space and to be able to unfold it in the same sort of time. It means that you have the flexibility to use it with other forms of transport. You can take it on a train, bus or aeroplane without having to pay extra for it. You can fit it into the boot of most cars (not a Mini, but it does fit into a MkII Ford Fiesta with the luggage rack in place). This means that you can either take it in your own car, or ...  Read the complete review
