The best all round quick draw on the market (Clog Super 10 Quickdraw)

Advantages: Amazing quality, not too heacy, colour coded for easy recognition

Disadvantages: Not the lightest on the market

Whilst is isn't the lightest quick draw out there it most certainly isn't the heaviest either and because its manufactured by Clog we instantly know that we aren't just buying an 'in between' accessory for your rack you are investing in a good quality and long life'd piece of kit.

The Super 10 quick draw is definitely one of the best out there and it is also the cheapest by average and this doesn't mean it should be avoided, that karabiners are of fantastic quality and with the anodised gates, it is easy to identify in an instant which end is which (on a quick draw you have one 'biner with a 'bent' gate and one with a straight gate, the straight gated end goes into the protection in the rock face while the bent gate end is where you clip your rope into, this is done because that bent gate prevents the rope opening the gate and escaping from the karabiner and allowing this climber to fall further, this is bad)

The two biners are joined together with a 12mm x 10cm dyneema sling, which is stitched right to the karabiner, this is to ensure the karabiner is kept in a firm position so that if you do fall you wont cross load the biner. Also since the Super quick draws have been reworked, they are slightly bigger to facilitate easier handling of the quick draw so that it is easier to use with your tired and aching arms when on a climb, it also makes it easier to clip your rope into the biner.

The Dyneema sling will withstand forces loaded onto it of 22 kN (kilo-Newtons)
The Karabiners (both straight and bent) with withstand forces of 23 kN on the major axis and 7 kN on the minor axis and 7 kN on the minor axis with the gate open.

The Dyneema sling also some in lengths of 15cm and 20cm. All with the 12mm of Dyneema sling.

Having fallen on these quick draws many times I can comfortably say that I am still alive, well I was the last time I.. better go check again.

Yep I am alright, crisis over :) these quick draws will keep you alive as long as the manufacturers specifications are obeyed and the quick draws are maintained properly.

Summary: While they arent the lightest, they are certainly in my opinion the best value for money
