Courtney's gyms sure do represent good value for money. I've been to the one in Balham several times, though I here there's also one down south in Tooting (if you're unfortunate to live that far down the Northern Line.) The main room is crammed full of cardiovascular and weights machines, with several of each type so that queues are kept to a minimum. They have the obligatory mirrored walls so that you can keep check on who's eyeing up your sweaty bits, and have just introduced the huge rubber balls that are supposed to improve your posture and are not just there to throw at the muscle marys (apparently.)
