Hi there! Read this before you join the Kensington (Point West) club: They charge £86 a month plus Joining fee which is £200!!!No shorter than 1 year membership! No free or even one day trial! You should be a member to use the gym. Small prints: You should give 3 months notice for cancellation from the first of the following month you give the notice!!! I was not a member of this specific club but have been a member of David Lloyd health clubs. Their facilities are built to a very high standard and apart from the usual Monday/Tuesday evening rush equipment availability is pretty good. I was a member of the Maidstone, Kent club. I would like to warn anybody joining a health club to make sure they understand the membership terms fully before joining. You may be keen to get fit but for many unfortunately this can be a short term whim but the membership contract shows more commitment. I joined this flagship gym on Cromwell Road in London last September shortly after it opened. It is by far the best gym I have seen in London, spread over a huge amount of space on the bottom 5 floors of the Point West Building it has fantastic facilities. The "wet area" comprises a good sized swimming pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. There is a studio for the wide range of free (and pay) classes, two large gyms, a bar/retaurant area and a beauty studio. Unfortunately I left this area so I had to end my membership!
