Great place for a lifestyle change

I recently had my lightbulb moment regarding certain aspects of my life, one of which was my health.

I am a typical 20 something brittish male who drinks too much, eats the wrong crap and who thinks exercise is lifting a fork to my mouth. So, not wanting to be an overweight slob, I decided it was time to enroll in a heath and fitness club.

I had already attended my local council health club two years back and had an induction. I had seen all the equipment and different classes that they had on offer which gave me a basis of comparison when I went to David Lloyd (Renfrew).

I arrived to be taken around the place and see what they had on offer and the lady Chrissy coundn't have been more polite and informative if she had a gun to her head. The equipment was state of the art, there was two swimming pools (one inside and one outside), the changing rooms were spotless and it was all very refreshing and motivating. To the extent that I joined.

I have been 6 times since joining and I am really enjoying the place. they put on a welcome night for new members on Tuesday just passed. I received a pass to bring a guest on four occasions to use the facilities and a £30 voucher for a meal for two in the club room. We were fed well and they also provided wine which is always a bonus.

As part of the membership i had a one on one induction with a personal trainer (at the other place there was one trainer to ten of us!!) who drafted up a plan for me to do over the next four weeks. After the four weeks we go over it again and process is continual.

The facilities are top notch and as you can bring social guests to the restaurant and bar it makes it more than just a health club.
