Disadvantages: Rude staff, not helpfull trainers,administrative mistakes

I am working out since last 2 years and Im happy what I got. I have had some good and bad experience at the gym. Firsly il start with bad ones, so you can smile listening to the good ones later.

The customer advisor who signs you up for the membership are so crafty. To get their commision they will lie, they will do everything to get you on the membership form. I went to Alperton, North London fitness first about December 2006 and the person who was working told me that Ill be having 1 month free gym along with a £30 voucher for joining Fitness First through him. I said Ok i dont mind, and I gave my card details and everything. I was shocked to know that I never recieved any vouchers till date and I was being charged £5 administration fee which he said he is going to waive off for me. Instead of 1 month free gym, I only got 1 week free gym. When I spoke to the person about the problem he just ignored me. Therefore I complained to the managing director of Fitness First and the inquery is still going on after 6months. The fitness team who is ment to help you out with your weight most of the time chat with girls and flirt with them.

good experience is 'what I am today'. I am fit, i been working out 5days a week which keeps me safe from disease and any other problems. I found some very helpful mates at gym and discovered how different communities work out together in the same gym. I live in a multicultural area where like its 60% Indians, 20% Sri Lankans, 10% whites and blacks and other 10% from different countries. Its well mixed and everyone helps eachother with weights as well as they advise the right way of excersice.

Fitness first is charging £38 every month with facilies such as steam bath and sauna. This may be abit expensive but hey, its London. We support the rest of the country hehe jokin jokin ! My fitness first is huge and it got almost all the latest equipments, mostly in working conditon.
