Advantages: The price

Disadvantages: the music

Having tried several Gyms I have found fitness first the best value for money. For just £24.99 a month it is brilliant and if you want a family add on then they only charge a further £21.99. Before joining they allow you to have a trial of the gym first and after that they do not hassel you. Before you join they will tell you the offers and the different memberships so that you can choose something which suits you best.

They have lots of different things on offer such as personal trainers, sports injury clinics etc There is a programme of different classes that are included in your membership. Some of these include body toning, boxersize, dance classes, spinning, yoga and lots more. They do buddy days where you can bring your friend for free to join you in a class or the gym. If you sign them up then you get £30 worth of gym goods.

The changing rooms are very clean. They are air-conditioned, have showers with free shampoo adn body wash, the changing room also has a large TV. Lockers are free to use and are locked using your membership card as this has a magnetic strip. Through the changing rooms you can go into the spa area where there are steam rooms and saunas.

In the gym is a big area with lots of cardio equipment such as crosstrainers, treadmills and steppers. There are plenty of these so waiting for a free one is not needed. There is a smaller room for weight machines and an area with free weights. There is also a large studio for classes with equipment such as mats, boxing equipment. When classes are not using the studio it can be used freely at you leisure.

The only downside is the music, there is not enough dance music and not loud enough to get you motivated. However taking your own ipod, walkman etc solves this problem

Summary: Enough facilities, services and classes, and a good price
