The answer to the question of which boots to buy depends on your reason for wanting a new pair. Obviously, if you are after a pair that will turn you into a combination of Beckham and Rivaldo you may be better off letting your mother buy them for you so you have somebody to blame when you're not scoring free kicks with ease. No boot can give you more skill, full stop. Boots can enhance the rate at which you can build on your skill by providing you with better grip, more comfort, greater turning ability, etc. but the boot itself is not going to give you skill you never had before. Firstly it is important to ascertain what kind of surface you will be ... Read the complete review

Football boots are becoming more and more essential for those football lovers (like me). These days the majority of football is played on grass and for most of the football season you will need a pair of studded football boots in order to get a decent grip. The boot was designed to protect you when playing football. There are countless different football boots out at the moment and with the latest additions that experts can put on the boot itself, they are becoming more and more expensive. For people who play football on an odd occasion then i highly recommend cheap and basic football boots. You can get some from any good sport shop e.g JJB for for ... Read the complete review

I normally get through one pair of boots a season and that's if I look after them. Fortunately, touch wood, my current Nike Tiempo boots are still in decent condition and I'll probably keep them for the coming season of Saturday league football. But what if your boots, whatever make, turn out to be faulty goods. Stitching coming away from the toe, tears in the leather, loose studs, snapped laces, etc, can often lead to them being returned to the sports shop from whence they came. This is often met with a unsympathetic response of "there's nothing we can do" which doesn't help anyone who has just spent £40-£100 on a pair of boots that ... Read the complete review

Football boots are always a joy to buy, so many brands, styles, colours nowadays the choice is enormous. However you must get the boots that are right for you. Personally i think there are several key aspects that could effect the type of boots you want/need. These are: Foot Type Position Ground Personal Preference Foot Type. This can have a massive bearing on the type of boots you get, especially the brand. These days retailers tend to split there boots into 3 categories; speed, power and touch/heritage. Speed boots tend to be lighter more agile boots, usually quite long and thin they are generally for people with thin ... Read the complete review

I love playing football in different boots and over the years i have still not found a more comfortable pair of boots than the addidas preditors, they fit the foot comfortably and give you maximum control when striking the ball. The new addidas boots that the likes of messi and ashley cole are endorse by have been said to not be very comfortable and are too plastic and hard, i think this could suggest that football boot manufacturers are now more focused on the looks of boots not comfort and effectivness which i think are the most important points of football boots. Boots these days can cost anthing up to £130 and probably beyond this is because the companys can charge ... Read the complete review
