Advantages: My tips
Disadvantages: Lack of sport
I like to look after my body, without considering myself an addict to gym or any kind of fitness regime.
My tips are the following, and are based on my experiences, although I try to adapt them to everyone.
1) Make sure you do a sport activity at least twice a week, this is really the minimum
2) You can sign up for a gym, or take up sports like swimming, jogging, cycling (although the weather in UK is awful!) All these are low impact sports. Jogging should be done after you have done some stretching exercises
3) Make sure you eat fish at least twice a week, and particularly fish rich in Omega-3 Tuna, Salmon (when not coming from farming) are all rich in Omega 3
4) Do not watch TV for more than 90 minutes per day. A I said earlier, I am adapting tips based on my experience, I never watch TV, I have not had one for 14 years
5) Try to make love, erm, ok, sex, is also good, at least once a week. I am a man, I am not sure how it works with women, but if I go without sex for more than 4 days, I really suffer. I feel "too energetic". Was this review not meant to be about fitness tips in general? Well, sex is surely a way to keep fit.
6) Take a shower or bath once per day. Apart from improving your social life, if you are not doing it already, it is also good to wind down and relax. If you can manage to take first a cold shower, then a relaxing hot bath, but not too hot, and then a cold shower again, this will give you plenty of energy, particularly after sport. I do it nearly every time I make sport
Summary: Exercise regularly, take Omega 3, and yes, sex is good at least once a week
