Advantages: excellent all round bike

Disadvantages: very uninspiring

I'm a bit stuck on how to describe this bike. it's not bad, it's not exceptional. to be honest there's not really much to say about it.
The frame showcases giants excellent hydroforming system and comes in an understated grey, which exudes quiet strength.It comes with top spec Shimano groupsets and rear mech, which ensure quick and easy changes. Shimano's new LX rapidfire shifters really do the trick, and you can now opt to change both ways with your thumb.
Giant's own brand brakes are excellent but the hubs are far less than this and clearly show where money has been saved on this bike.
The problem with this bike is that it tries to be all things to all people. It just ends up being completely uninspiring.
However don't be put off by this. It is an excellent Jack of all trades and it has never let me down. Though more expensive than most bikes in its class it is easy to see where the extra money has been spent. It is very robust and the spec is very good. Because of this I would reccomend it to anybody looking at a bike that will never let you down at a reasonable cost.

Summary: a good all rounder
