I have never been a huge fan of darts, but since being on dooyoo I have read a few reviews on dart related products and also saw these at one stage. I have a darts board in the garage and occasionally play with Mates in the summer months, I never really bothered with getting new flights as its boy a common thing for me to play, the old flights I had were worn out and ugly! I saw these in sports direct and instantly recognised them from a dooyoo review! They were only 79 pence for a pack of three so I decided to invest in some for the Olympics and all that British pride that seems to be going around at the moment! I will now go into a little more detail on the product and explain why these were a great purchase.
These hve a great design and are very iconic, they make you feel happy to look at and are very shiny when flying through the air! They fit on nicely to the dart without any hassle and don't slip off easily like cheap ones I have had in the past. They attach well and feel of good quality. I am no expert in darts, but I belive they make the dart fly nicely through the air and i have no complaints with how they make the dart fly. Overall these are good quality and bring a smile to any British face. They are simple in design but somehow look great on the dart board and in your hands.
After a while they start to Frey at the edges and lose there quality, it didn't take long to damage them. This may be due to my rubbish skills but I wish they lasted as shiny as they were when i opened the packaging up. They still work well after a few months, I may be getting another set soon to replace these as I do
Like the look of them very much. I have no idea about darts in detail, but they work for
I am happy with these as I paid such a cheap price for them! I would recommend that you get some for your darts! Especially this year! They work well and are of good quality. They get 4 stars from me, very happy with them. Thanks for reading my review! I hope it helped you out. I am sorry if it wasn't as technical as you may have liked.
Thanks again, josh.
Darts flights can be notoriously difficult items to review due to the fact that superficially there appears to be little difference between the ones manufactured by different companies. What can be assessed however is their aerodynamic properties, longevity, and appearance - and this is something which i'll attempt to do in the following write-up.
Harrows are one of the world's leading manufacturers of darts accessories, and today I'm looking at the Union Flag variant of their 'Quadro' series. These rather patriotic flights came free with some darts that I bought a while back; to be honest, I'm not sure I would have chosen them if I had bought them individually, as I generally prefer to use plain flights. However, when purchased alone, the flights are available from JJB Sports for 49p for a pack of three.
Design & Appearance

Designed with a curved rear edge (rather than the sharp angular sides as seen in many other dart flights), the Quadros allow the darts to fly through the air smoothly and efficiently. I personally prefer this style of flight design to the more elongated, almost rectangular flights that I have used in the past - they seem to be more stable in the air, especially when used in combination with heavier brass darts. I had no trouble attaching the flights to the dart shaft, and they can be removed similarly easily.
Build Quality / Wear & Tear

Constructed from a sturdy polyester, my Quadro flights first began to split at the point where they attach to the aforementioned dart shaft, eventually making it difficult slide them into place. That said, the damage was the result of general wear and tear, occurring after around five months of light use. I would argue that this is perfectly acceptable and to be honest, they're easily as good as any other flight I have used from the perspective of longevity.

For only 49p, Harrows Quadrow darts flights offer very good value for money - they do the job that they're designed to do, plus they last for a decent amount of time before they give up the ghost. The Union Flag design? well, that's up to you - but there are plenty of other colourful designs in the Quadro range for you to choose from if they're not your cup of tea.
I have been playing darts for many years. One of the first things you notice when you play against someone new or a friend who you have not played with before, is their dart flights. There are thousands of different designs out there that can make any boring set of darts look far more interesting. Whether it's naked ladies or simply Union Jacks, there will be a dart flight for you.
Harrows have to be the biggest producer of darts equipment there are. They produce dartboards, darts, score boards and of course dart flights. There are an extensive range of different flights you can buy from Harrows and there really is something to suit each individual taste. Some people opt for the more conservative dart flight whereas some try and find the most flamboyant dart flights on the market.
It's not only the colours and pictures on the dart flights, you can also select different shapes. There is a standard shape that we are all familiar with or you can get narrower ones, fatter ones or even one shaped like insects. I think my favourite are the ones that are shaped like wasps, they are so bright and colourful and even though a slightly longer design than normal and an odd shape, they still fly straight a true.
That's another thing about Harrow's dart flights, they are all good quality. They are designed in a way that will keep your darts flying straight. Admittedly they don't always last very long, if you repeatedly strike the flights with another dart then they will start to fray and lose their shape, however this is really true of any dart flight and regularly changing your dart flights is just part of the game.
Another great thing about Harrows dart flights is the price. You can buy a set of three of these for just 59p. That really is a bargain. It means you can buy plenty of different sets and enjoy playing with a variety of different flights. Plus when the ends to start to fray you don't need to worry about the expense of changing your dart flights. Darts has to be the cheapest sport there is to play and dart flights are just another example of how cheap the sport really is.
If you play darts then chances are at some point you will have come across Harrows products. If you are bored of using the same old dart flights then it's worth visiting the Harrows website and seeing some of the great fun designs you can purchase. Otherwise you can visit a nearby sports shop and chances are they will have a rack with plenty of Harrows darts flights to choose from. So whether you play at the pro level or just like to play in your garage, I am sure you will enjoy some of the Harrows dart flights that the company have to offer. Go and pick yourself up a set of these as soon as you can.
Being quite a regular player of darts across my years I have experimented with all types of darts, stems, weights and above all else flights. I am forever fiddling with arrangements to get the best quality to my throw, after all it is easy for a bad workman to blame his tools!
Over the years I have played a lot using a harrows flight. These are some of the most widely available and widely used flights and don't rip your eyes out in price as some of the other "player" endorsed flights. Costing between 99p and £2 usually you cant really go wrong with this brand.
These particular flights are very very common with players up and down the land going for the patriotic Union Jack symbol particularly and this particular range is the Quadro selection which is one of the companies budget range. In each pack you get three, available also in other designs, as you would expect and only three so if you snap or tear one you cannot buy a replacement without buying the full set.
They are constructed from the usual material of a polyester base with laminate coating to ensure they don't damage easily. They are very light and feel very flimsy. Being so cheap you would expect them to be even more flimsy but they are quite durable. I prefer light darts with very light flights so these suit me down to the ground. They are tough in regards to the ends not fraying and damaging as they inevitably fall out and/or are taken in an out. This particular brand have lasted me a considerable amount of time and I was surprised with the abuse and long term use they gave me.
All in all these hit the nail on the head....or rather the dart board. They are light, a tad flimsy perhaps, but durable and are an affordable range of dart flights from a respected company.

We bought a pack of Harrows Quadro Dart Flights as a bit of fun when the world cup was on. Almost everyone had the Union Jack on cars, as pennants, as banners on t shirts etc. So we decided to get a pack of these to go on nicely to a set of darts. They were not listed here, but we thought they we such a bargain for the money we paid, that we suggested them as a product.
The Harrows Quadro Dart Flights we bought were a real bargain as they cost just 49p. We have seen them at Sports World for 99p, but 49p seems to be the cheapest price we have seen these. As soon as we saw them we thought they were just the thing we wanted and for 49p they have been more than worth the money.
The Harrows Quadro Dart Flights are marketed as being a good quality dart flight, although I think the Quadro range are amongst the lower end Harrows products. They came in a small pack which has the brand name on them and there was a simple see through plastic front, so that we could see what we were getting.
The pack had a full set of 3 dart flights inside it, which means they worked out as just under 17p per flight. The design of the Union Jack on these flights is nice and clear. The red, white and blue shades used look nice and bright and the flights fitted very well onto the set of darts we bought them for.
The Harrows Quadro Dart Flights are made of a light but durable rigid polyester. This makes them very light when flying through the air towards the bulls eye/ double top or the winning shot (err hopefully).
The flights have been thermo sealed which should make them stay in shape well and keep them rigid when in use. Once they were fitted onto the darts themselves, these flights looked very smart, but the proof of the pudding was in this case in the throwing!
When in use the flights seemed to stay in place as they should. They seemed very light and did indeed fly through the air really well. They didn't hit every target on the board, but that may have been due to the way in which the user took aim in the first place.
As with many of these novelty dart flights they are pretty much of a muchness and the performance of them is effected by the skill of the player as much as by the material and shape of the flights. We did like these though and had lots of fun with them, scoring well and not having too many bum throws.
As we bought these due to their Union Jack design, they were just what we wanted. They worked reasonably well and most of the darts flew straight and true. They seemed a nice size and the material used was fine as an occasional dart flight. They held their shape well and are still going strong.
I am not really sure if these flights are allowable as official tournament flights as they were not bought for that purpose, so you may need to check that out. As they were bought for fun more than anything, again I cannot comment on whether they would be classed as good enough for a more serious game of darts.
In terms of rating our Harrows Union Jack Quadro Dart Flights, they get a 4 star rating. They were the design we wanted, they were extremely cheap to buy and they fitted well. They seem very durable and light when in use and are well worth looking into buying for just 17p per flight.
