It keeps all the muscles toned, is very quiet and can be used in front of the TV obviating the boredom that is characteristic of the treadmill. Well i can honestly say i am not impressed with regards to the quality of the healthriders manufacture. It is downright dodgy, i had mine for only 3wks when the adjustable pin snapped off in mid row. I found the health rider easy to use. After following the instruction video tht came with mine I found it easy to get into the habit of doing a number of different exercises to develop different muscle groups.
