I love my Sports Sigg Bottle!
Sigg are renowned for building indestructible water bottles, which can double as fuel carriers, or for any liquid really. This version is a special bottle for easy drinking whilst on the move.
This is the ideal water bottle for me – it's in the middle of the range which goes from 0.33 to 1 litre. It's available in only the 0.75l size with the sports cap.
This bottle is different to the standard Sigg bottles in two respects.
Firstly – It has an indented body about an inch from the top, enabling you to grasp around it firmly.
Secondly – the standard screw cap is replaced by a sports drinking top, with a screw top as before, but with a twist and click insert to lock the drinking nozzle into the in or out mode.
Basically it’s just like the common plastic sports bottles available for cycling or general leisure use, but comes in the legendary Sigg indestructible mode – with an aluminium outer for weight saving, and a steel inner for health reasons (apparently aluminium intake has been linked to Alzheimers).
How does it perform? Well I've managed to dent my bottle many times on passing pointy mountains and it is still utterly reliable. Pricey it may be, but unless it gets nicked (it happened to me in Calgary), you’ll never need another one.

I am a fan of Sigg's indestructible bottles too! They can worry security guards at airports when they show up all dark and ominous on X-rays though....
