Advantages: Good for flicking and close control

Disadvantages: Quite thin can break if used incorrectly

I have been using Dita hockey sticks for a long time now, i think 3 seasons in total. The stick i have right now is a dita mega master J.
This stick is very thin, it is extreamly good for brilliant close control on the ball. Although it is very thin it doesn't effect your hit, if you strike the ball cleanly it will go as well as any other stick.
I personaly have an extra grip on my stick i find this helps a lot with cutting down on vibrations during a game.
This stick has a very thin head so it is also very good for flicking you will find that most of the sticks that Dita make are very thin and are brilliant for close control.
If you wanted a slightly thicker stick you might go for one of the composite sticks in there range which are also good for all the above.
If you have only just started playign hockey i would personally reccommend using a cheaper stick one of the middle range ones which will hold out for atleast a season if not more depending on the amount of use it gets.
I will carry on using a dita stick untill i find one that i think matches it. Although the Dita sticks are my personal favourite alot of other ppl like different sticks and if they where to write a review on a different one i would be more than happy to read it :)

My Dita had a lump taken out of the head in it's 2nd season. My Grays is just coming into it's 4th year!

I don't agree that beginners should get middle of the range sticks as this slows down their progress and the heads wear down quickly. Personally I prefer Grays sticks as would suggest them for anyone who plays defense as they have a little extra weight, slightly greater surface area on the head and are extremely durable- everything a defender needs!
