Advantages: Better than all those other outdoor games and a good laugh

Disadvantages: cold in the winter

Hockey is one of the greatest games there is I have been a member of Clevedon HC for the past four years and I love it.

The clubs atmosphere is really good everyone gets on well and whether we win or lose we have a great laugh after the game.

It has somewhat of a bad reputation, most people start playing at school on grass as opposed to on astro turf. The players are very inexperienced and everyone gets injured or just cant play in football boots and they get put off. When you get on the astro it is entirely different and a great laugh.

So get down to your local club and start playing especially if its Clevedon and dont be persuaded by Yatton cos they are well im not allowed to swear but i think you can guess!!
