Although my 20 month old granddaughter is the real In The Night Garden fan, Makka Pakka has acquired somewhat of a cult status in my older granddaughter's school. It was for this reason that I jokingly bought her this sports bottle for Christmas, never believing for a minute that she'd actually use it but surprisingly it was a real hit and she now takes the bottle to school every day with some juice or pop to consume during the day. I have since bought the baby one as she has been drinking out of a cup for a while now and both me and her mum thought she'd cope with one of these sports bottles as the spout isn't too wide and made of a gentle plastic. ... Heroes For Kids - In the Night Garden Makka Pakka Drinks Bottle..... Jack has been using large beakers now to have his juice in for quite some time and it came to my notice that he was able to drink out of a sports bottle just as well as he could the specially designed children's beakers from Boots and such like places. The specially designed drink beakers can sometimes cost more money than these sports bottles and therefore I thought I would try this particular sports bottle. I saw it for £2.50 pence in my local Matalan store a few months back and for that price I thought it was worth a try. The usual kids beaker we buy from Boots is nearly £4 a go ... When I felt my Daughter was old enough to move from a beaker to a sports bottle I decided to head out and buy one. My daughter was a huge fan of in the night garden at the time and when asking which one she wanted, she chose the makka pakka one. The description: The bottle is all blue. It is a good size so there is no need to keep filling it up. It tends to last my daughter all day when fully filled. It has a curved back to make it easier for small hands to hold. Another great benefit is the twist top, it is very easy for my daughter to open and close this and it holds the liquid in so no spills. On the front is a picture of makka ... Read the complete review

My daughter of 18months is a massive 'In The Night Garden' fan. She has almost every possible toy and merchandise from the childrens tv programme. I had no intention of buying this sports bottle. I was walking around Morrisons one day and saw it was £1.00!! It has got iggle piggle and upsy daisy on the front which is her two most favourite characters from the television programme. She normally drinks out of an advent magic cup which is £4.00! I thought its about time she started using a sports bottle when were out too get her used too drinking in a bit more of an adult way. It is really easy too use. Its also spill proof unlike some sports bottles. ... Read the complete review
