not very durable, but are still recommended.

the independent truck company have been her for many years and have continued to provide some of the best skateboard trucks. they feature many different pro skateboarders, like Eric koston. a lot of amateur and professional riders ride independent trucks or at ;least have rode therm before. independents trucks have always provided durable bushings that are great for any type of rider. usually for their trucks they use what i believe to be metal and some hollowed out. usually they or who ever you buy the trucks from provides whether they are hollowed out or not. the specific trucks are very light, which is great for getting higher tricks, but at a cost. sometimes the lighter thew truck they wont last as long as heavy trucks.

my experience is that i mostly ride independent truck when i skateboard. i am not a huge fan of colored skateboard trucks but i have received these trucks as a present. right off the bat i notice how light they were and the paint on the trucks provided a slightly more slick feel rather than the metal feel of non colored truck. after about 2-3 months of mostly ledge skating the trucks did seem to provide a little more wear and tare than the usual trucks i ride. however it was to be expected because of the like weight. i liked the trucks, but i do wish they were more durable so they could ;last longer. plus, one of my favorite skaters is Eric koston so i wasn't surprised when someone got me these trucks.

i would recommend these trucks to any flat ground/ledge skater, but not as much to a huge stair set skaters. i am not sure if i intend on buy these exact trucks, but i do plan on buying from the independent truck company again.
in closing i would recommend these trucks mostly to

Good trucks but are not long lasting

Independent made the first ever production skate board trucks so as you can imagine, they one of the best truck company's out there! I normally love Independent trucks but I am not sure of what to think of these. I was in my local skate store and I picked them up. They felt extremaly light which is always a plus but after a few weeks of heavy use, I started to notice that they were extremaly worn down and were getting to the point that I couldn't use them any more. I was very disappointed but the few weeks that I got to use them was great.

The turning that they give is outstanding. They were ultra responsive when you need them to be, but very stable when you want them to be. Very good. The grinding was extremaly smooth which is due to the trucks metal being so soft. I thought that they would be durable when I got them as I have had independents before which were extremaly durable. I guess that they are not all the same!

Overall they were good trucks for their short life but they soon wear out and become useless. I would only recommend them if you are willing to get another pair a month later!
