I packed my bag and in it I packed my Mac in a sac and I am glad I did.

I have just returned from a week?s holiday staying with friends in the French Pyrenees and it rained every day apart from the first day.

Last year I bought sleepy dormouse and her husband 2 Mac in a sacs for her honeymoon in Wales She reported that they were good.
Dearly Beloved and I both own good breathable waterproofs but I thought that I wanted to reduce our luggage weight and space. And we would only need to take Macs just in case of showers.
I went to our local shop (just round the corner) it is a saddlery, which sells saddlery, and out door wear for horsy people. Here I bought a Mac for Dearly beloved and myself

My Mac is a blue colour Dearly beloved has a green one. Sleepy dormouse has a purple one her husband a green one .I think they make a yellow one as well

The Mac in a sacs cost me £15 each.
The Mac in a sac is waterproof and windproof.
It weighs 250 grams, fits into a small bag about 10 cm x 4 cm
The bag has a drawstring at the top opening, and a loop on the side to put it on a belt. Very compact and very light.

We all walked the mountains and it rained and rained but we remained snug and dry in our mac in asac?s. We had waterproof leggings as well.
It didn?t rain every day all of the day just showers most of the time. We did not go for a walk without getting wet. The orchids were lovely and we saw quite a few butterflies mostly roosting to avoid the rain
