It weighs slightly less and is smaller, but this isn't a good thing in my opinion, as it makes it not only harder to stand/balance on, but also the size of microscooters have never had an impact on the folded up size or weight in my opinion (so i don't really see any benefit in it being smaller). The JD bug is a company that makes scooters, and in my opinion, they really are the cheapest you want to go. Other makes are razor, and micro (micro being my personal favorite) but in general, they cost more. This particular scooter comes in a range of colours, including Black, Red, Blue, Purple, Black/Clear (the one in the picture is black/clear). This scooter does feel quite study, and is much better than the cheapo scooters that you can get off amazon for around £10 than last only a few rides.
