I am pretty new to walking and climbing but after climbing Mt Sinai in Egypt i am well and truely hooked! I decided a few weeks ago to buy some proper walking equipment as my trainers really hurt my feet climbing the mountain. My clothes were also totally unappropriate for the weather and i was extremely uncomfortable.

After seeing a Karrimor advert in sports soccer i decided i wanted to look like the girl in the advert! With my amazon vouchers from dooyoo i have bought some Karrimor traveller walking shoes at £14.57 (a bargain price) They arrived last week and are absolutly perfect. Very comfortable and soft yet supportive on the ankle. Although i havent used them for climbing yet i have worn them out a few times and they are brilliant!

I have also got my eye on a Karrimor jacket, bag and socks as we are climbing Snowdon at Easter. I will have to save up quickly and write a few more reviews i think!

Excellent value for money - far better than some other mountineering brands with regards price.

Reasonably modern looking (as far as walking boots ond equipment can go!)

A great low cost brand more than fit for purpose. I will definately be buying more Karrimor in the future - just got to keep earning then amazon vouchers!
