... upgrades, but my point is that this frame (which has essentially remained the same in the later models) is the perfect upgrade platform and will make a brilliant all round trail bike whatever you do with it. The geometry (in typical Kona fashion) is very responsive and from the looks of the latest component set Kona have put on it I would have no hesitations in recommending this bike to anyone. ...more

This bike is light, fast and responsive. It is a joy to ride and is very versatile as an all-round mountain bike. My muni-mula has taken me through my first XC races, countless day rides and epic trails; when I started to get interested in trials I made a few modifications (namely brakes and fat tyres) and my baby took everything I could throw at it.
